Hi, My name is Jessica Slade and I am a student in The introduction to Childhood and Education class. I am
an exchange student from the University of Chichester in England and am in my last semester here in Canada.

I am majoring in History and i took this class because it was different to anything I could learn at home,
opening the opportunity to study the origins of Canadian education and see if there were any comparisons to home. I also took the class because it related to my interest in becoming a history teacher, and what better way to prepare then to know the origins of education?
